ACAL PLC - BOARD CHANGE

Acal plc ('Acal') announces that Jim Virdee, who has been Finance Director of Acal since 1993, has stepped down from that position.

Malcolm Cooper, who has worked within the Acal group for over nine years and has been Group Financial Controller since 2004 is appointed as Finance Director of Acal with immediate effect.

Mr Cooper qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and prior to joining Acal worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and the BOC Group.

There are no matters requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
