Capital & Regional plc29 June 2007 29 June 2007 CAPITAL & REGIONAL PLC: ANNOUNCES THE RETIREMENT OF ANDREW LEWIS-PRATT, AND THE APPOINTMENT OF JOHN GATLEY TO LEAD THE C&R RETAIL PARKS TEAM Capital & Regional announces with regret the retirement of Andrew Lewis-Pratt asan Executive Director, on grounds of ill health. Andrew, who joined the board in 1997 following Capital & Regional's acquisitionof Lanham, has been responsible for the Group's Retail Parks business where heleaves behind a strong team with deep knowledge of the business. John Gatley supported by a specialist team of 26, will now be taking fullresponsibility for The Junction reporting to the Group's deputy chief executive,Xavier Pullen. He has over 13 years experience in the retail warehouse sector,including on the tenant side, being Group Property Director of Focus Wickes, andmore recently on the landlord side at The Junction. As Managing Director forthe past 21/2 years he has been responsible for the organisational structure,growth and development of the business. Tom Chandos, Chairman, said "Capital & Regional's position as one of the leadersin the retail park business is attributable to Andy's flair and the team he hasbuilt.
