Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Sagentia Group plc (AIM:SAG) is pleased to announce that Professor Keith Glover has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 October 2011. Professor Glover was appointed to a University lectureship in Engineering at Cambridge University in 1976, and then in 1989 elected to a Professorship of Engineering, his present position at the University. He has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London and a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Professor Glover is a Fellow of the Royal Society, a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

As a leading provider of research and development services to the medical, industrial and consumer sectors, the Board of Sagentia has been seeking a non-executive director to provide a strong technical contribution to the Company and its scientist/engineering staff. After an extensive search, Sagentia is very pleased that Professor Glover has agreed to join the Board.
