Directorate Change - Replacement

The following replaces the 'Directorate Change' announcement released on 31 October 2011 at 08:37 under RNS No 1329R. As previously released the announcement contained elements of draft text.

The Board of Go-Ahead is pleased to announce that Andrew Allner, Chairman of the Audit Committee, has been appointed Senior Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Andrew, who has been a Non-Executive Director since October 2008, replaces Rupert Pennant-Rea who, having served on the Board for nine years must now be considered as not independent. Rupert Pennant-Rea continues to serve as a Non-Executive Director. The Nomination Committee has commenced a selection process to appoint a new independent Non-Executive Director.
