Telford Homes (AIM:TEF), the London-focused residential property developer, is pleased to announce that Frank Nelson is to be appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company from 1 January 2015 and will, in time, replace Robert Clarke, who is retiring at the Group's next Annual General Meeting to be held in July 2015. Frank Nelson will then become the Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Frank Nelson (aged 63) is a UK resident and a qualified accountant. He has over 25 years of experience in the construction, contracting, infrastructure and energy sectors, and was Finance Director of construction and house-building group Galliford Try Plc from 2000 until October 2012. He was previously Finance Director of Try Group Plc from 1987, leading the company through its flotation on the London Stock Exchange in 1989 and the subsequent merger with Galliford.

Following his retirement from Galliford Try, he took on the role of interim CFO of Lamprell plc, where he helped to complete a complex refinancing and turnaround, before leaving in October 2013. Frank was appointed non-executive Director of Thames Valley Housing Association in 2012 and he joined McCarthy and Stone, the largest retirement homes developer in the UK, as non-executive Director in November 2013. Earlier this year Frank was also appointed non-executive Director of HICL Infrastructure Company Ltd, a FTSE250 listed infrastructure investment company.
