The Board of the Company announces the appointment of Ian R J Williams as Executive Chairman and Hemant Thanawala as Finance Director with immediate effect.

Mr Williams and Mr Thanawala have served on the board of the Company since its admission to AIM in 2006, initially in an executive capacity and more recently as non-executive directors.

These appointments are associated with a review of the QFI corporate structure following the acquisition of substantial shareholdings in two newly formed Canadian ventures, Sparky Energy Corporation and Porient Fuels Corporation, which was announced to the market on 14 June 2010. 

The review is expected to result in further changes which will be announced as soon as possible.
