Capita Group PLC27 July 2006 27 July 2006 Appointment of Executive Director to the Capita Group Board The Capita Group Plc ("Capita") is pleased to announce that with effect from1 August 2006, Simon Pilling will join the Group Board as an executive director.Simon is appointed Joint Chief Operating Officer alongside Paddy Doyle,currently Group Operating Director. Simon and Paddy will jointly oversee theGroup's growing operations. Simon will additionally lead the development ofCapita's offshore operations. Paul Pindar, Chief Executive of Capita, welcoming Simon Pilling to the Boardsaid, "Simon has a wealth of operational, commercial and management experienceand has played a valuable role on Capita's Executive Management Board over thepast 4 years. Simon Pilling joined Capita in 1999 and has held a number of senior managementpositions across the Group. He has been a member of Capita's ExecutiveManagement Board for 4 years, heading first the Professional Services Divisionand then the Integrated Services Division. Simon has operated at senior levelsin the IT and business process outsourcing industry for over 12 years and priorto that in management consultancy.
