Publishing Technology PLC03 May 2007 Simon Dessain leaves Publishing Technology plc. Simon Dessain, chief operating officer of Publishing Technology plc and formerchief executive of Ingenta plc, has announced his departure from the company. Following the successful merger of Ingenta plc and VISTA International, whichwas completed in February 2007, Simon has decided to develop his careerelsewhere. He said: "The last six years at Ingenta and Publishing Technology have proved bothimmensely enjoyable and a great challenge. Now that the merger is finalized, theintegration of the two businesses is well under way and the right management isin place at the operating subsidiaries, I feel that the time has come for me topursue new opportunities." George Lossius, chief executive of Publishing Technology, said: "On behalf of the board, I'd like to thank Simon for all his hard work inhelping to develop Publishing Technology. We wish him well."
