Ford Motor Co28 March 2007 Contact: Tom Hoyt 313.322.1524 [email protected] IMMEDIATE RELEASE NEIL SCHLOSS NAMED VICE PRESIDENT AND TREASURER; ANN MARIE PETACH TO LEAVE FORD DEARBORN, Mich., March 28, 2007 - Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) today announcedthat Neil Schloss has been named vice president and treasurer, effectiveimmediately. In his new role, Schloss will report to Don Leclair, executive vicepresident and chief financial officer. "Neil has played a critical role in securing the funding we need to implementour restructuring plan," Leclair said. "He's taking the reigns of the office ata key time and his background and experience in treasury will be vital to oursuccess going forward." In his previous assignment, Schloss was assistant treasurer for Ford, a positionhe's held since 2003. He joined Ford in 1982 as a senior financial analyst inthe controller's office in Ford Aerospace. He has worked in a number of treasuryoffice positions for Ford and Ford Motor Credit since 1991, including: director,Risk Management; director, Financial Strategy; manager, North American andEuropean Financing; manager, European Financing; and manager, Corporate andDomestic Financing. Ann Marie Petach, who formerly was treasurer, has elected to leave the company.She has accepted a position at BlackRock, an investment management firm. "Ann Marie has been a valuable asset to the company and to the Finance team,"said Leclair. "She's worked tirelessly as we developed plans and implementedactions related to our turnaround efforts. We wish her every success."
