Chief Financial Officer to step down at 2015 AGM
Laird PLC announces today that Jonathan Silver will be stepping down as Chief Financial Officer at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 8 May 2015, after nearly 29 years with the Company and 21 years as a Director.
Jonathan will work closely with David Lockwood, Chief Executive, on the selection and appointment of his successor to ensure a smooth transition.
David Lockwood, Chief Executive, commented:
"Jonathan Silver joined Laird in 1986 holding the roles of Group Treasurer and Corporate Development Manager before being appointed to the Board as Finance Director/Chief Financial Officer in 1994. During this time, he has overseen a major transformation at Laird. Jonathan has been an excellent CFO with a strong reputation both within the business and externally.
The Board is very grateful to him for the job that he has performed over many years of dedicated service."
Jonathan Silver, Chief Financial Officer commented:
