NOTIFICATION OF APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Galliford Try, the housebuilding, regeneration and construction group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Marisa Cassoni as a non-executive director. The appointment will formally commence with effect 1 September 2018.
Peter Ventress, Chairman, commented: "I am delighted to welcome Marisa to Galliford Try as a non-executive director. Marisa's appointment will further strengthen our independence and the experience of the Board as well as plan for the role of chair of the remuneration committee. The Board looks forward to Marisa quickly establishing herself in the role, and to benefiting from her extensive experience. Marisa will assume chair of the remuneration committee following the Group's AGM in November 2018."
On appointment Marisa will also become a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees.
Marisa Cassoni Biography
Marisa is a chartered accountant with more than 40 years' experience as a finance professional. Her previous roles include Group Finance Director of John Lewis Partnership, Royal Mail Group, Britannic Assurance Group and Prudential UK Group. Marisa has over 20 years' experience as an executive board member and is currently a non-executive director of the Skipton Building Society, AO World plc and Ei Group plc.
