DIRECTOR RESIGNATION AT GREENCORE GROUP PLC ("GREENCORE")
The board of directors of Greencore announces today that Tony Hynes has decided to step down from his executive role at Greencore. Tony has been an outstanding leader in the company and has helped develop the strategy, the business and the people of Greencore over the last 10 years.
Patrick Coveney, Chief Executive Officer is delighted to note that Tony will remain on as chairman of our US business over the next 12 months. Tony has been an outstanding contributor to Greencore and to the Board since his appointment in 2001 during a period of significant change in our company, our markets, our portfolio and our leadership team.
The Board would like to thank Tony sincerely for his valued input, dedication and expertise, which have contributed greatly to the development of the Group. The board wishes Tony well for the future.
