UBM plc today announces that Alan Gillespie will step down from the Board on 17 May 2017 having served as Senior Independent Director. Alan was appointed as a Non-executive Director in April 2008.

Dame Helen Alexander, Chairman of UBM plc, said:

“Alan has made a significant contribution to the UBM Board over the past 9 years, having seen the Company through various key phases of its development. He has been an excellent Senior Independent Director and has provided wise counsel with his extensive knowledge of Capital Markets and Corporate Finance. He will be missed by his colleagues on the Board and we wish him well for the future.”

Greg Lock, Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, will become Senior Independent Director on 17 May 2017.

This announcement is made in accordance with LR 9.6.11.
