Embargoed for release: 0700 on 24 July 2013 Northern Petroleum Plc ("Northern" or "the Company") Directorate Change Northern announces that, effective yesterday, Chris Foss, Executive Director -Legal & Commercial, has left his position on the Board of Directors of theCompany and other operating subsidiaries of the Group. Chris joined Northern in January 2003 and was promoted into the role of FinanceDirector in August 2005. During his almost eight years as a member of the Boardof Northern, Chris undertook various financial and commercial roles, mostrecently as Executive Director - Legal & Commercial. Keith Bush, Chief Executive Officer of Northern, stated: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Chris for all of hisaccomplishments during more than ten years of service to the Company and itsshareholders, and wish him success in his planned new executive and nonexecutive activities beyond Northern."
