BTG plc: Appointment of Non-executive Director

London, UK, 23 January 2018: BTG plc (LSE: BTG) the specialist healthcare company, today announces the appointment of Anne Thorburn as a non-executive director of the Board and member of the Audit Committee.

Anne has an extensive range of international financial management, risk, audit and M&A experience. She was Chief Financial Officer of Exova Group plc from 2009 to 2015 and previously served as Group Finance Director at British Polythene Industries PLC. Anne is a non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Diploma PLC and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland.

Garry Watts, BTG's Chairman, commented: "We are pleased to welcome Anne to the Board. She brings significant financial and broad business experience to BTG's Board, which will benefit the Company as we continue to implement our growth plans."
