Board Appointment 

Karen Jones appointed Non-Executive Director 

ASOS is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Jones (age 53) as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 September 2009.

Karen Jones is the Founder and current Chairman of Food & Fuel Limited and a Non-Executive Director of Booker Group plc, Virgin Active Group Ltd and Royal National Theatre Enterprises. She was previously Chief Executive of Spirit Group Limited and a former Non-Executive Director of HBOS plc, Gondola Holdings plc and Emap plc, among others, and was the co-founder of Café Rouge and the Pelican Group plc.

Lord Alli, the Chairman of ASOS, commenting on the appointment said:

"We are delighted to welcome Karen Jones to the Board. Karen has shown her ability to nurture and develop fast growing businesses and I am confident that her managerial, strategic and international experience will be integral to the continued success of ASOS."
