Paddy Power plc announces the appointment of a new Director
The Board of Paddy Power plc is pleased to announce that Jane Lighting will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Jane was, until 2008, Chief Executive of Five, the UK's fifth terrestrial television channel. Prior to joining Five in 2003, Jane was Chief Executive of Flextech plc. Jane is a Trustee and Fellow of the Royal Television Society and Council Member of the British Screen Advisory Council and is a Non-Executive Director of Trinity Mirror Group Plc.
Commenting, Nigel Northridge, Chairman of Paddy Power plc said: "I am very pleased that Jane has agreed to join the Board. As Paddy Power continues to grow its business in the UK, both in retail and online, Jane will bring general knowledge and experience of the market as well as specific media expertise, which is particularly relevant."
