Directorate change and notification under Listing Rule 9.6.14

Meggitt PLC (the "Company") has been informed that Mr Philip Cox, a non-executive director of the Company has been appointed non-executive director and Chairman designate of Drax Group plc, a power generation business, with effect from 1 January 2015.

As a result of the additional time commitments required for this new appointment, Mr Cox has decided to resign as a non-executive director of Meggitt PLC with effect from 31 January 2015. Meggitt PLC's Chairman, Sir Colin Terry, said:

"On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Phil Cox for his significant contribution to the Board and the Company over the last two years and to wish him well for the future."
