CVS, one of the UK's leading providers of veterinary services, announces that, further to the Company's announcement of 11 July 2012 relating to the planned departure of Paul Coxon from the role of Group Finance Director, Nick Perrin will be appointed to that position with effect from 1 January 2013.
Nick Perrin, a Chartered Accountant, is currently the Interim Chief Financial Officer with Praesepe PLC, a leading UK bingo and gaming centre operator. Between 2008 and 2011, Nick was the Finance Director at Genting UK PLC, the UK's leading casino operator. Prior to this, Nick spent nine years at the Co-operative Group, first as the group's Financial Controller and then as the Director of Finance for the group's Specialist Retail Division, including Pharmacy, Funerals and Travel.
Paul Coxon will stand down from his role as a board director on 31 December 2012. An orderly transition and handover between Paul Coxon and Nick Perrin has been arranged.
