The Governor and Company of the Bank of Ireland ("the Bank")

Bank of Ireland announces that Mr Brad Martin, Non-executive Director, has notified the Bank of his intention not to stand for re-election at the Annual General Court on Friday, 28 April 2017.

Accordingly, Mr Martin will retire as a Non-executive Director at the conclusion of the Annual General Court.

This disclosure is made in accordance with paragraph 6.6.5 (2) and 6.6.5 (4) of the Listing Rules.
