Gerard Murray Gerard Murray, who was appointed Finance Director in January 2003, has notifiedthe Board that he wishes to resign from his position with effect from 31December 2007, in order to take up a new challenge as Finance Director of TheVardy Group of Companies - a new enterprise recently established by Sir PeterVardy, former Chief Executive of Reg Vardy plc. In accepting his resignation,the Board wishes him well in his new role and thanks him for his significantcontribution to the continued growth and development of the Group during thelast five years. The process to recruit a replacement has commenced. Andrew Allner At the same time, the Board is pleased to announce that Mr Andrew Allner hasagreed to join the Board of the Company as a Non-executive Director with effectfrom 26 September 2007. Mr Allner is currently a Non-executive Director of Marshalls plc. His most recent executive appointment was Group Finance Director of RHM plc. Hewas previously Chief Executive Officer of Enodis plc and prior to that heldBoard appointments with Dalgety plc, PIC International Group plc and AmershamInternational plc. He was also a Non-executive Director of Moss Bros Group plcfrom 2001 to 2005. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhousein 1978, subsequently becoming a Partner. It is the Board's intention that Mr Allner will succeed Mr Rogerson as Chairmanof the Audit Committee. There are no other matters which require to be disclosed pursuant to ListingRule 9.6.13.
