Dublin, London, 9 June 2008: C&C Group plc ('C&C' or the 'Group'), a leading manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded beverages in Ireland and the UK, today announced that Director, James Muldowney, has indicated that he will step down from the Board and his executive position at C&C at the AGM on 11 July 2008. James has served as the Group's Strategy and Development Director since 2000 and now plans to pursue other opportunities.
James Muldowney commented "I have enjoyed working with C&C through the transformational years from private equity to public market ownership and from an Irish beverages company to an international alcohol company. There are a number of other opportunities I would now like to pursue. I wish the C&C team every success in the next stage of development."
