Directorate changes

Altona is pleased to announce that Mr Jiahong Zhang has been appointed to the board of Altona as Non-executive Director with immediate effect, which, as previously announced, is in accordance with the placing agreement condition to allow Wintask Group Limited ("Wintask"), Altona's new cornerstone investor, Board representation.

In addition to his role as Non-executive Director at Altona, Mr Jiahong Zhang is the Vice General Manager of the Hailang Group.

There is no information to be disclosed on Mr Jiahong Zhang under Rule 17 and Schedule 2 Paragraph G of the AIM Rules.

Michael Zheng, Chairman of Altona commented: "In addition to Wintask's cornerstone investment into Altona, the two parties are looking at ways of working together. The Company's first priority is the Arckaringa project and the recent investment from Wintask strengthens our ability to deliver that project, however we also recognise that Wintask and Altona both share strong clean coal credentials, which could be put to use on a joint project. We are therefore pleased to welcome Mr Zhang to the board of Altona and look forward to a close working relationship that is expected to deliver significant opportunities and benefits to both parties."
