DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Equiniti Group plc ("EQ" or "the Group") announces the appointment of Andrew Peeler as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from 1 August 2021, succeeding John Stier. Andrew is an experienced and highly skilled PLC CFO with a track record of delivery in blue chip companies including Unilever, Cadbury Schweppes, Premier Foods, Bupa and Yodel. He has been the interim CFO of Mitie PLC since December 2019.

John Stier will step down as Chief Financial Officer and as a Director with effect from 1 August. He will remain with the business for a period to facilitate a handover. 

We are very grateful to John for his dedication and commitment to the Company, including during the IPO in 2015. He has worked tirelessly with the new CEO to simultaneously manage a detailed strategic review and the considerable work arising following the proposal from Siris to acquire the share capital of the Group. When the time comes, John will leave with our very best wishes for a long and healthy retirement.

1. Andrew was Chief Financial Officer at Mitie Group PLC from December 2019 to June 2021. Prior to joining Mitie, Andrew was Chief Executive Officer of Yodel from January 2018 to September 2019, having previously been Chief Financial Officer from September 2017. Prior to this he held several senior executive and board positions in Europe, America and Australia including with Bupa, Premier Foods, Cadbury Schweppes and Unilever. Andrew is director and chair of the Finance Committee of Fair Finance, a leading micro finance social enterprise. He is a qualified Chartered Global Management Accountant.
