Chris is a Guernsey resident and a formermanaging director of Schroders in the Channel Islands. Before joining Schrodershe was Far East Regional Strategist in London and Hong Kong for Smith New Courtand prior to that spent 15 years as a journalist much of them as a foreigncorrespondent for the Financial Times. He has considerable public companyexperience and acts as a non executive director on a number of publicly listedinvestment companies including Hermes Absolute Return Fund Limited and HermesCommodities Umbrella Fund Limited, both of which he is chairman, and ISISProperty Trust 2 Limited. Chris will be initially appointed to the board, at the board's invitation, on1st April 2008 and confirmation of his appointment, which the board are happy torecommend, is sought from shareholders at the forthcoming AGM.
