British American Tobacco PLC18 January 2005 The following announcement was made today by British American Tobacco's Canadiansubsidiary. With effect from 11 February, Luc Jobin will also cease to be amember of the British American Tobacco Management Board. Imperial Tobacco Names New President & CEO The Chairman of the Board of Imperial Tobacco Canada, Don Brown, announces thatLuc Jobin, currently President and Chief Executive Officer, has informed theBoard of his decision to leave for another opportunity, effective February 11,2005. Mr. Benjamin Kemball will replace Luc Jobin as the new President and ChiefExecutive Officer, effective February 11, 2005. Benjamin Kemball brings 25 yearsof experience in the tobacco industry, most recently as President of CigarreraBigott in Venezuela, part of BAT group. "Everyone in the company takes this opportunity to wish Luc Jobin well in hisfuture endeavours, as well as to thank him for his 21 years of dedication to thegroup, both at Imasco and at Imperial Tobacco Canada.
