Derwent Valley Holdings PLC28 March 2006 28 March 2006 DERWENT VALLEY HOLDINGS PLC ("Derwent Valley"/"Company") DERWENT VALLEY APPOINTS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR As notified to shareholders in the in the Preliminary Results announcement on 21March 2006, Derwent Valley is pleased to announce the appointment of StuartCorbyn who will join the board as a non-executive director on 23 May 2006,immediately after the Company's AGM. On joining the Board, Stuart Corbyn will serve as independent member of theremuneration, audit and nominations committees of Derwent Valley. Stuart Corbyn (aged 61) is currently chief executive of the Cadogan Estate, oneof the principal private estates in London, and a former President of theBritish Property Federation. There are no further details required to be disclosed under LR 9.6.13R of theListing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
