Directorate Change
The Company today announces the appointment of Marian Glen as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Board. Marian will also join the Remuneration Committee. This will take effect immediately.
Marian is currently a Non-Executive Director of The Financial Services Compensation Scheme and Shires Income plc, a listed investment trust managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers. She is also a Non-Executive member of the audit committee of the Water Industry Commission for Scotland. She was previously a Non-Executive director of Murray Income Trust plc.
Marian has over 25 years of experience as a solicitor predominantly at Linklaters LLP and latterly at Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP, specialising in corporate finance. Prior to this she was General Counsel and Member of the Executive Committee at Aegon.
The Company also announces that it has made the following changes to its committee structure:
Nick Lyons has joined the Nomination Committee and Robin Phipps has joined the Audit Committee.
In accordance with paragraph LR 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules, the Company confirms that there is no information to be disclosed in terms of LR 9.6.13R (2) to LR 9.6.13R (6) inclusive in respect of Marian Glen. Marian's appointment has been approved by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulatory Authority.
