SThree plc14 August 2006 Appointment of Non-Executive Director SThree, one of the UK's leading specialist staffing businesses, announces thatit has appointed Tony Ward OBE as a non-executive director with immediateeffect. Tony Ward (56) has over thirty years experience in a variety of senior executiveroles with blue chip companies including BAA plc, Kingfisher plc and GrandMetropolitan Group plc. He joined BAA in 1997 as Group Human Resources Directorand has held his current post of Services Director since 1999. In this role heis responsible for a number of group-wide activities including InformationTechnology, Security and Airside Operations. Mr Ward was a board director of BAAplc between November 1999 and July 2006. Prior to joining BAA Mr Ward was Group Human Resources Director of Kingfisherplc and held senior personnel positions in both the operating divisions andcorporate office of Grand Metropolitan plc. He is a Fellow of the CharteredInstitute of Personnel Development and a former Deputy Chairman of theCommission for Racial Equality.
