Tembusu, the AIM quoted Investing Company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Robert (Bob) Thomas Wearing as a Non-Executive Director of Tembusu with immediate effect.

Dr. Wearing BA, MSc, PhD, FCA, aged 60, trained with Kingston Smith LLP and qualified as an ACA in 1973 and as an FCA in 1978. He was subsequently a financial analyst from 1976 to 1979, first at Associated British Ports then at British Olivetti.

In 1979 Bob returned to academia and began lecturing in Accounting at the University of Kent at Canterbury, before moving to the University of Essex in 1980 where he is now Reader in Accounting in the Essex Business School. Dr. Wearing is currently supervising three PhD students and teaching on postgraduate modules including Strategic Analysis of Financial Statements, International Financial Reporting and Cases in Corporate Governance. In August 2010 Bob was co-awarded a grant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales ("ICAEW") to carry out research into activist shareholders and the implications for corporate governance. A report is expected to be published by the ICAEW in 2011.

Dr. Wearing's recent publications include Cases in Corporate Governance, London: Sage Publications (2005), Chinese edition in 2008; and Financial Accounting, London: Sage Publications (2008) with John Stittle. Dr. Wearing has also presented at a number of international conferences, including:

Other than his appointment to the Board of Tembusu, Dr. Wearing is not currently (and nor has he been at any time in the last five years), a director (or partner in a partnership) in any other company.

Dr. Wearing does not currently own any shares in Tembusu.

There are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with rule 17 and or Schedule Two (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies of the London Stock Exchange in connection with Dr. Wearing's appointment.
