APPOINTMENT OF TRADING DIRECTOR
Beale PLC is pleased to announce that Anthony Richards has been appointed to the board as a Trading Director with effect from 1 September 2011.
He joined J.E. Beale PLC (the principal trading subsidiary of the Company) on 4 July 2011 as Trading Director.
Prior to joining J.E. Beale PLC he worked in a retail consultancy capacity supporting the Company in the integration of 19 department stores purchased from Anglia Regional Co-operative Society Limited on 22nd May 2011. He previously held the position of Chief Executive at The Furnishings Place Limited from 2004-2008.
Under paragraph 9.6.13(3) of the listing rules it is disclosed that Anthony Richards was a director of The Furnishings Place Limited when it went into administration in May 2008, of Rosebys Card Services Limited when it was dissolved on 22 April 2009 and F W Realisations Limited when it was dissolved on 27 August 2010. There are no further disclosures under paragraph 9.6.13 of the listing rules.
