Directorship Change

AVEVA Group plc, one of the world's leading providers of engineering data and design IT systems, is pleased to announce that Christopher Humphrey is to be appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 8 July 2016. Christopher will also assume the role as Chair of the Audit Committee when Jonathan Brooks retires from the Board in November 2016.

Christopher Humphrey, BA, MBA and a Fellow of CIMA, is currently a Non- Executive Director of The Vitec Group plc and SDL plc. He was Group Chief Executive Officer of Anite plc from 2008 until August 2015 and their Group Finance Director between 2003 and 2008. He has held senior positions in finance at Conoco, Eurotherm International plc and Critchley Group plc. He was previously a Non-Executive Director of Alterian plc between 2011 and 2012. 

Chairman of AVEVA, Philip Aiken, said:
