BOARD CHANGES

London, 5 March 2014: Ophir announces the following changes to its Board:

Further to the announcement made on 14 November 2013 of his impending retirement from the Board, John Lander, Independent Non-Executive Director has retired from the Board with effect from 28 February 2014.

Nicholas Smith, Chairman of Ophir Energy said:

"I would like to thank John for the contribution he has made to the Company since he joined the Board in 2008. The period since his appointment has seen Ophir enjoy significant success and the depth of John's experience has proved invaluable to the Board and Management during this time."
