Mr Turner's retirement is part of a programme of change amongst The Group'sNon-Executive directors, a number of whom have held their positions for longperiods by the standards of the Higgs recommendations on Board composition. Theprogramme of change amongst the Group's Non-Executive directors will be carriedout progressively and in a controlled manner over the next few years, so thatthe Group does not lose the substantial benefit of their experience.
