7 December 2007Candover Investments plc - Resignation of non-executive director
Candover Investments plc announces the resignation of Stephen Curran as a non-executive director with effect from 6 December 2007.
Gerry Grimstone, Chairman of Candover Investments plc, said:
"After many years of dedicated service to Candover, first as an executive, then as Chairman and most recently as a non-executive director, Stephen Curran has decided to bring this chapter of his business career to an end and stand down from the Candover Board. Stephen was one of the original architects of Candover and, without him, Candover would not exist in its present form. On behalf of Candover, I would like to thank him very much for his great contribution to the Company."
Stephen Curran was a director of Candover Investments plc for over 25 years, having joined the board in 1982. He was appointed chief executive in 1991 and served as chairman and chief executive from 1999 to 2006, when he stood down from both roles and became a non-executive director.
