Francesca Ecsery appointed as new non-executive director

 

Share plc (AIM: SHRE.LN), parent company of The Share Centre (a leading independent retail stockbroker and operator of Sharemark, the trading platform for growing companies) and Sharefunds (the Group's investment management and fund administration subsidiary), is pleased to announce the appointment of Francesca Eva Ecsery (aged 48) as a non-executive director.

 

A graduate of Harvard Business School and former McKinsey & Co consultant, Francesca has held a range of senior sales and marketing positions. In particular, Francesca was most recently the Global Business Development Director at Cheapflights, and prior to that Managing Director, International, at STA Travel Group, the world's largest student travel company.

 

Francesca has a background in consumer-led organisations and particular expertise in online sales, marketing and service delivery. Francesca also uses this expertise to play a leading role as Publications Officer within the Women in Advertising and Communications London (WACL) organisation - a not-for-profit group of influential women working in marketing and communications.

 

There is nothing further to disclose in relation to Ms Ecsery's appointment pursuant to Rule 17 of the AIM Rules for Companies. Her current and previous directorships and partnerships over the past five years are as follows:
