Billam PLC18 August 2005 18 AUGUST 2005 BILLAM PLC (BLLM) (AIM) ("Billam" or "the Company") BOARD CHANGES The Board of Billam Plc, the investment company specialising in technology forthe future, is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Bennett as anon-executive director with effect from 18 August 2005. Mr Bennett has extensive experience in the mid and small cap company sector. Hehas over 20 years of investment banking experience having worked at Citigroupand Credit Lyonnais Securities, where he was formerly the Head of the Mid andSmall cap companies team. He is a Chartered Accountant. The Board believes Simon Bennett will assist in adding value to Billam'sportfolio and its investee companies through his expertise and contacts. AsBillam's portfolio is increasingly in the quoted sector the companies can groworganically and by focussed acquisition. The strengthening of the investmentsshould be recognised in increased market value and reflected in Billam's netasset value.
