3i Infrastructure plc ("the Company") announces the appointment of Mr Paul Masterton as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 April 2013, subject to the receipt of regulatory approval.

A Jersey resident, Paul serves as a Non-Executive Director on several other boards including Insurance Corporation of the Channel Islands, a subsidiary of the RSA Group, and as Chairman of Digital Jersey. 

Peter Sedgwick, Chairman of 3i Infrastructure plc, said:

"We are delighted that Paul has agreed to join the Board of 3i Infrastructure plc. He brings valuable corporate and non-executive experience to the Board."

There are no other matters to disclose in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of the FSA's Listing Rules.
