Greene King PLC21 April 2005 Greene King plc21 April 2005 GREENE KING PLC FUTURE CHANGE OF DIRECTOR Greene King announces that Michael Shallow, who has been finance director sincejoining in 1991, has decided that he would like to seek new challenges outsidethe company. Michael has agreed that he will not resign before December, whichwill allow him to see through the completion of the final results for thefinancial year to 1 May 2005 and the interim results for the half year to 16October 2005. He has had fourteen very successful years with Greene King andwants to provide for a smooth transition. Greene King will begin the search forhis replacement. Tim Bridge, chief executive, said : ' We will be very sorry to see Michaelleave, but clearly respect his views on what he wants to do. I have greatlyenjoyed working with him over the years and he has been massively committed tothe company, as I know he will continue to be throughout the rest of the year.' Michael Shallow said : ' I have had fourteen great years with Greene King,during which time the company has developed on all fronts. I feel proud to havebeen associated with what we have achieved but I feel that I now want to exploreother opportunities.'
