15 December 2015 - Glanbia plc, the global nutrition group (the 'Company'), today appointed Mr. Tom Grant as a Non-Executive Director, as nominee of Glanbia Co-operative Society Limited.

Mr. Grant today on his appointment notified the Company, pursuant to Chapter 5 of Part 5 of the Companies Act 2014, that he is interested in 6,236 ordinary shares of €0.06 each in the Company.

Mr. Grant has notified the Company that he has no details to be disclosed as required under Paragraph 6.6.7, Chapter 6 of the Irish Listing Rules and Paragraph 9.6.13, Chapter 9 of the UK Listing Rules.
