2 June 2010 Sterling Green Group Plc ("Sterling Green" or "the Company") Directorate Change
The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Aspinall, aged 46, to the board of Sterling Green as Finance Director, with immediate effect. Mr Aspinall will continue as Company Secretary, a position he has held since the Company's incorporation in April 2004.
Mr Aspinall qualified as a Chartered Accountant in May 1989 whilst working in a private practice based in central Manchester, where he remained until March 2000. Whilst holding the position of company secretary of a number of AIM listed and private companies over the last decade, he has also been the Finance Director of AIM listed Hawthorn Holdings plc until October 2004 and a Non-Executive Director of AIM listed Felix Group plc until March 2004. He is also currently a Director of Oxygen Ventures Limited, which is registered with the FSA.
Under Schedule 2, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules, the following information is disclosed:
Mr Aspinall is currently a Director of Consilium Partners Limited and Oxygen Ventures Limited. He currently holds options over 625,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company, exercisable until 26 October 2016 at a price of 0.1 pence per share. In addition, Mr Aspinall is non-beneficially interested in 8,250,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") in his capacity as a trustee of The Blueberry Charity Trust and 4,000,000 Ordinary Shares, held by The Cheshire Children's Charitable Trust, of which his wife is a trustee. Mr Aspinall has confirmed there is no additional information under Schedule 2, paragraph (g) of the AIM rules which needs to be disclosed.
