Lonmin PLC29 April 2005 29 April 2005 Directorate Change Lonmin Plc Lonmin appoints new non-executive Director The Board of Lonmin Plc is pleased to announce that Mrs Karen de Segundo, untilrecently Chief Executive Officer of Shell International Renewables has agreed tojoin the Board as a non-executive director with effect from 29 April 2005. Mrsde Segundo will sit on the audit committee. Mrs de Segundo is a member of the supervisory board of Ahold NV and anon-executive director of Merrill Lynch New Energy Technology Plc and JaakkoPoyry Group Oyj of Finland. Commenting on the appointment, Lonmin's Chairman, Sir John Craven said: "I am very pleased to welcome Mrs de Segundo to Lonmin. She has wide rangingexperience from her long career at Shell working across a number of continentsand functions. She will make a valuable addition to the Lonmin Board."
