River and Mercantile Group PLC ("the Company") announces the appointment of a Senior Independent Director

River and Mercantile Group PLC ("the Company") is pleased to announce that Angela Crawford-Ingle, currently Non-Executive Director of the Company and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, will be appointed as Senior Independent Director of the Company with effect from 1 November 2017.

As previously announced and as part of his long-standing retirement plan, Peter Warry will resign as Senior Independent Director of the Company with effect from 31 October 2017.

River and Mercantile Group PLC makes this announcement in accordance with LR9.6.11R.
