Appointment of new executive director

Haynes Publishing Group P.L.C. the worldwide market leader in the production and sale of automotive and motorcycle repair manuals today announces that Mr Jeremy Yates-Round will join the Board and take up the position of UK & European Managing Director from 1 June 2010. Mr Yates-Round has over 25 years of experience in the publishing industry and has an extensive knowledge of both domestic and international markets gained from working for organisations such as Hodder & Stoughton and the HarperCollins group. Mr Yates-Round joined the Haynes Group in 2001 and is currently the Sales and Marketing director for the UK operations.

There are no further disclosures required in connection with Mr Yates-Round's appointment under Listing Rules 9.6.13(1) - (6).

As previously announced Mr John H Haynes will be stepping down from his role as Group Chairman at the end of May 2010 but will remain on the Main Board as the founder director. Mr J HC Haynes, who is the current UK & European Managing Director and who was appointed Group Vice Chairman in June 2008 will take over as Group Chairman from 1 June 2010.
