Uranium Mining Corporation PLC08 December 2005 URANIUM MINING CORPORATION PLC ("UMC" or "the Company") RESIGNATION AND ACTIVITY UPDATE UMC (AIM:UOX), announces the resignation of Stephen Kappelle as a Director inorder that he may focus entirely on his role with Max Petroleum plc. Following the Company's announcement of 16 November, advising it was close toacquiring an option to purchase a substantial oil and gas asset in Kazakhstan,the Directors advise that negotiations are proceeding satisfactorily andanticipate closing the transaction within the next few weeks.
