Appointment of director
Mission Capital plc ("Mission Capital" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Godfrey Roger Thorpe as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Mr Thorpe, aged 58, is the Chairman, and former managing director, of Karspace Management Limited ("KML"), the Company's subsidiary, which specialises in traffic management and parking solutions.
Godfrey Thorpe's career encompasses appointments in both the public and private sectors, including Ford Motor Company in the UK and Gulf Oil in Canada, predominantly with a strong financial bias. Upon his return to the UK in 1981, he focused on the car parking industry, building upon 12 years' practical experience with a large London borough authority and 13 years with a private sector operator.
Following his appointment as Managing Director of KML in 1997, Godfrey succeeded in developing the Company into an innovative and quality service delivery organisation.
There is no further information required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
