Change to the Board of Directors
Appointment of a new Non-executive Director
Just Retirement Group plc ("JRG") announces that Michael Deakin joined the Board as an independent Non-executive Director on 30 April 2014.
Michael is a qualified actuary with over 25 years' experience as a fund manager. In 2003 he retired from his position of Chief Investment Officer for Insight Investment. Since then he has held a portfolio of non-executive roles, including as a member of the Board of the Pension Protection Fund and Deputy Chairman of the London Pension Fund Authority.
Tom Cross Brown, Chairman of Just Retirement Group plc, said:
"We are pleased to welcome Michael to the Board as he brings considerable experience in asset management and I am sure that he will make a valuable contribution to the Company."
There are no further details in respect of Michael Deakin requiring disclosure under Listing Rules 9.6.13 (1) to 9.6.13(6) inclusive.
