Bloomsbury Publishing PLC05 September 2007 Bloomsbury Publishing Plc Directorate Change Bloomsbury Publishing Plc announces the following change to its Board: Nigel Newton, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive of BloomsburyPublishing Plc announces that he and the Nominations Committee of Bloomsburyhave appointed a new Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of BloomsburyPublishing Plc in order to achieve the Company's ambitions for the next stageof its development. Newton wishes to separate the roles of Chairman and ChiefExecutive in accordance with corporate governance best practice. Jeremy Wilson has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman with effect from 27September, 2007. Jeremy has worked at Barclays Bank PLC since 1972, where hehas held a number of senior management positions. He is Vice Chairman, BusinessBanking at Barclays Bank PLC, a position he will retain. Jeremy Wilson has 30years experience in the corporate and institutional world both internationallyand within the United Kingdom. He brings to Bloomsbury City and global financialservices experience, both as a banker and as a Non-Executive Director of variousorganisations around the world. He has been a Non-Executive Director ofBloomsbury since November 2005. Commenting, Nigel Newton, Founder and Chief Executive of Bloomsbury, said: "For some time I have been considering separating the roles of Chairman andChief Executive.
