BOARD CHANGE
London, 29 May 2015 - Serica Energy plc (AIM: SQZ) announces that Mitch Flegg, COO, has been offered the job of Chief Executive Officer with another AIM listed independent and will be leaving the Board with immediate effect to take up his new position.
He has been with Serica since 2006 and has served on the Board of Serica as Chief Operating Officer since 2012. The Company wishes him every success in his new position.

"Mitch has been on the Board of Serica since September 2012 and, as Chief Operating Officer of the Company, has been instrumental in overseeing the change from a company focused on the North Sea and South East Asia to one with exploration interests in the Atlantic Margins and a growing focus on production in the Central North Sea. We are sorry to see him go and wish him well in his new role."
