Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
IDOX plc (AIM: IDOX, 'IDOX' or the 'Company'), the supplier of software and services to the UK public sector, has appointed William Edmondson as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 29 September 2008.
Will Edmondson, aged 39, is currently Finance Director for the Europe, Middle-East, India & Africa Region of Autodesk Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK, 'Autodesk'). Will has been with Autodesk since 2002 and has led the finance teams in the EMIA regions since 2005. Autodesk is the world leader in 2D and 3D design software for the manufacturing, building and construction, and media and entertainment markets. It has nine million users worldwide and over $1 billion of revenues in the EMIA Region.
Will is a UK Chartered Accountant and trained at PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to working as a manager in its Forensic Services division for three years, thereafter joining Carlton Communications plc as a Divisional Financial Controller in 1996. Will then worked with software company TrustMarque Group, which he joined as Financial Controller in December 1999, becoming its Finance Director in December 2000.
Will has considerable experience of mergers and acquisitions, having worked on many integration projects for Autodesk and previous companies.
